Just wanted to let you know that I passed the SIE today. I tried an in person course, but it was all Drill and Kill. I love the way you deliver the content and help us understand the reasoning behind the various items. I am SO thankful I found this course after failing my first attempt. The PDFs vs a text book made the information concise and to the point without extra fluff. Suzy’s explanations of what the test is looking for and real world examples made such a difference in my understanding of the material. Passed 1st attempt! My firm recommended and paid for me to receive my Kaplan materials for the 65. I studied by reading the chapter and watching the videos. I would take the practice tests and would score 50%. I was perplexed with the amount of work I put in, yet the poor result. Distraught I couldn’t sleep one night and just pulled up YouTube to find other supplemental instruction. I found Suzy’s videos where she explained questions. I watched about 5 of them and was hooked. Well, I, unfortunately, did not pass my first series 65 exam: I felt it’s important to give you my background so it can help others in a similar situation in terms of your prep/time/etc. I am in my late 30’s, a mom of 3 fairly young children. So I read the Kap*** book and did the practice test about 30 to 40 times till I was in the 90’s and failed the second window.
