I spent almost 20 years in the securities industry most of which I spent in the wholesale industry. I also spend a few years running a startup company as the CEO using Regulation D to raise capitol. I had what I thought was a superior understanding of the 65 material in a practical sense. Long story short, I had let my 6,7 and 63 lapse in 2019 figuring I would never be involved in the industry again. Passed 1st attempt! My firm recommended and paid for me to receive my Kaplan materials for the 65. I studied by reading the chapter and watching the videos. I would take the practice tests and would score 50%. I was perplexed with the amount of work I put in, yet the poor result.
