Passed 1st attempt! My firm recommended and paid for me to receive my Kaplan materials for the 65. I studied by reading the chapter and watching the videos. I would take the practice tests and would score 50%. I was perplexed with the amount of work I put in, yet the poor result. Well, I, unfortunately, did not pass my first series 65 exam: I felt it’s important to give you my background so it can help others in a similar situation in terms of your prep/time/etc. I am in my late 30’s, a mom of 3 fairly young children.
